No Ordinary Tuesday

I finally got what I've been needing these recent years: a compact work-unit! Sybrand went out this morning and came back a couple of hours later with an iBook G4. Yaaay! So he's been busy since morning to do the installment etc., and now the iBook is ready to use. Everything works fine and smoothly, Sybrand said, battery, Internet and all. Now all I have to do is cleaning up my data on my iMac and deciding which to transfer to my new pal. Ooh I'm so excited. Thanks Syb dear - you know I don't need flowers, just gimme an iBook.. :D
Oh one more thing. Perhaps it's a bit cheesy but I usually give nicknames to my everyday things. My iMac I sometimes call "Stitch" because there's a Stitch figure on top of it. We call our blue cabinet "Max" because Max is the maker's name. Now I wonder what I should call my iBook. Suggestion, anyone?

Later in the evening Ayu & Rizal came for dinner. We had vegetable tempura (aubergine, haricot verts and onion), Japanese fried chicken, white rice and warm pancake filled with ice cream for dessert. Then we had tea and sweets. Dhanu and Lindri were having fun with the guests, they were playing with Play-Doh until it's time for the guests to leave. Now good night, all!
